Never Happen

Mrs. Christine Blasey Ford

Don't hold your breath for ever seeing, or reading of, the testimony of Mrs. Blasely-Ford to the U.S. Senate Judicial Committee.  She and her lawyers have been doing a tap-dance worthy of Broadway since the breaking of this story. It is clearly designed to delay and destroy the Kavanaugh appointment to the US Supreme Court and should go down in history as "The Feinstein Maneuver."  The most recent set of Blasey-Ford demands included:  

"That Kavanaugh not be present during her testimony."

Contrary to our Constitution, wherein an accused person has the right to face his accuser, this makes it easier for a liar to prevaricate and not face so much as the astonished look of her falsely accused person.  Liars often collapse on confrontation.

"That Kavanaugh give his testimony first."

This is the Blasely-Ford "rip-cord" as it flies in the face all trial and controversial issue handlings and legal traditions.  The complainant must say what he, or she, is complaining about first to establish the issue.  It is just that simple.  What can an accused person say about an accusation of which he is ignorant?  "I know nothing? I'm innocent!  I did nothing!  Why am I here?"  And, under the Blasey-Ford stricture Mr. Kavanaugh would not be allowed to respond!  This is also utterly unconstitutional.

"That no outside counsel can question her."

This is a serious indication the charges are false as attorneys are trained in obtaining the truth from witnesses and have famously created "Perry Mason" moments when liars are exposed.  To date, four people Mrs. Blasely-Ford cited as being at the pool party have said they have no such recollection.  They include Mrs. Leland Ingham Keyser, the former Mrs. Bob Beckel, Mark Judge and Patrick Smyth and several hundred women who have worked for, with or knew Mr. Kavanaugh in high school, college and law school have said he was a gentleman and appropriate in dealings with women.

"That the hearing take place next Thursday, not Monday."

There is no reason for this delay other than obfuscation of the process. Several Democrats are on record expressing a desire to delay the Judicial Committee vote to beyond the mid-term as the Democrats hope to retake both the House and Senate.  If they win they will reconstitute the Senate Judicial Committee.  Senator Diane Feinstein withheld the letter from the Judicial Committee in violation of their rules.  Members of the Judicial Committee are required to present all evidence as soon as they are aware of it to prevent exactly what Mrs. Feinstein has engineered, a collapse of the work of the Judicial Committee.  For that she should be removed.

Perhaps the Ford Motor Company could bring out a new model pickup truck designed for handling manure featuring four reverse gears and dumping truck bed with a legend, "Blasey-Ford" for all to see.  Could be big seller in cities were dump trucks are rarely seen, but now are popular.  In any case, this hearing will never happen.

Note:  OK, I was wrong, but still say she may have been present, but "not all there" given that "little girl" voice she spoke in as that is not her real voice which is a psychological "tell" that what she is saying is a fantasy.  It is just that simple.
