The following is edited from "The Hill" one of our favorite and recommended sources, but we have never seen a piece we could not "fix." To wit:
Fox News poll: Majority say US worse off than it was 4 years ago
Fifty-five percent of voters in the poll said they believe the U.S. is worse off now than it was four years ago, while 32 percent said we were better off and 11 percent expressed we "...were the same."
Asked if they personally were better
off than four years ago, 33 percent said yes while 36 percent said they
were worse off and 30 percent said they were the same. We find this to be about what we would expect and that is not "scientific," but then neither is any polling.
On the economy, 11 percent of voters rated our condition "excellent" compared to three percent saying "the same as in 2016." The poll found 22 percent rate the economy as "good," 32 percent rate the economy as "fair" and 34 percent rate it as "poor."
Trump's job approval in the new poll registered 47 percent positive, with 52 percent negative confirming the many in office gets the blame whether he deserves it or not.
Asked
how history will judge Trump, 42 percent said he will be viewed as one
of the worst presidents in history, 22 percent said he will be
remembered as one of the greatest and 26 percent said he was average or
above average: 48/42 positive, but major media said it was a strong rebuke of the Trump Presidency.
The Fox News poll was conducted on 1,007 registered voters December 6 to 9. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points.
The poll comes as Trump has grappled with the economic fallout from the COVID-19 virus pandemic, which has infected millions of Americans and left hundreds of thousands dead.
14 million Americans face eviction if a national eviction ban imposed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is allowed to lapse. Jobless claims for the first week of December also shot up to 853,000 in seasonally adjusted claims; a nearly 20 percent jump from the previous week and the highest reading since September.
The increase comes as COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths continue to set new records, leading states and cities to reimpose tough social distancing and lockdown measures that destroy small businesses.
The economy also had a decline in 2020 with the worst quarterly economic contraction in history while the Dow also broke 30,000 for the first time in history, but on baseless currency that had been printed without the confirmation of equal T-bond sales. This has been the key to our currency stability but violated by Treasury Secretaries Bernanke and Yellin. Janet Yellin is going to be Joe Biden's Secretary of the treasury. These are large factors of our next four years!
We think it is illuminating to go over statistics of this kind periodically as it is rather like looking at a map to see where you are in reality.

Just saw the intro to a new show called Cosmos. Almost had to get a bag to barf in for it was so Politically correct. To quote in my words. "Look how far we have come with our computers and scientific knowledge since 1958. Back then man went to the moon without computers doing the math for them. We should now be able to stop global hunger and global warming with the technology at our hands."
ReplyDeleteIf global warming was caused by man then yes maybe. If Carbon dioxide actually caused warming then yes maybe. If most global starvation was not caused by governments then yes easily. There is no population bomb like presented in the movie- The Kingsman. The general trend of world population growth has been downwards for nearly thirty years. The biggest threat to world peace and stability is socialistic governments not free enterprise. The biggest threat to world peace is old institutions like the Nobel prizes giving people a peace prize for the color of their skin. What happened to giving the prize to those who work for peace and not giving the atomic bomb to rogue terrorist organizations acting as a government.
"Global Warming" is a myth and scam for more Federal money to build bigger bureaus. I prove it is false with my simple experiment in "CO2 Is Innocent" at https://ScienceFrauds.blogspot.com that includes many frauds illicit scientists have pulled off on Kings and nations in Europe and now here in America.
ReplyDeleteDr. Paul Erlich wrote "The Population Bomb" in the 50's for all the wrong reasons, but I think he believed it as his statistics work was flawed and I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
