Xavier Speaks, Again...

We all watched in horror this summer as the Trump Administration ripped migrant children from their parents’ arms and detained them in cages.

 

We quickly sued the Trump Administration to stop the administration’s inhumane zero tolerance policy, but while administration officials backed off from separating families, they’re still indefinitely detaining more than 13,000 children.

 

Now, we’re seeing new reports that these children are being woken in the middle of the night, herded onto buses and moved to a tent city in the middle of the West Texas desert.

I’m still fighting for these children in court and I need your help. Contribute $5 to help me win in November and continue our lawsuit against President Trump’s zero tolerance policy.

It’s bad enough that we’re keeping children detained indefinitely in shelters -- not to mention, it’s unconstitutional. But now, children are being moved to an unregulated facility with no school, limited access to legal help and no clear timeline for their release.

 

Right now, our legal work is focused on forcing the federal government to share all the details of its zero tolerance policy and treatment of these children. We have a long fight ahead of us to stop these cruel policies for good.

In America any parents putting their kids on top of a boxcar to go 2,000 miles would not only never see them again, but he, or she, would be in prison for five to ten years with no chance for early release.  That you endorse this practice should be prosecuted as a felony. 

Your use of words like "woken" for "awakened" make me wonder if you did not get your JD from of a Sears or Johnson C. Smith catalog.  But, nothing will top the stupidity of many in your party who think the American people are not shocked to see your Gestapo-like tactics in the streets of cities all around the nation.

Do not bet-the-farm on a "blue wave" as I am sure it will not happen and I have proven prognostic skills in politics.
