New York Democrat Congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez believes the “blueprint” for how we won World War Two can be deployed to beat global warming.
The Communist “It Girl" appeared at a town hall in Queens, New York, recently and announced yet another of her "off-the-wall" suggestions

While this is amusing we have to realize this nutburger is very likely to win her race for a seat in the House of Representatives as she is running in a district for which the Democrats have a lock, if not a "death grip." She said:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in a strange allusion to World War II talks about solving "global warming/climate change" with a World War II style program of converting our entire energy industry to solar, wind power and who knows what else? Certainly not nuclear energy which is the only real alternative, but one that would result in another global war as uranium is not equally distributed around the world.
America has 1% of the world's known uranium deposits, Russia has 8% and China has 3%. Hillary Clintons sale of 20% of our supply to Russia, in perpetuity, was surely an act of treason if we are to believe her Democrat colleagues that Russia is our enemy. For Hillary to wail that Donald J. Trump "colluded" with Russia to defeat her in the election by a yet undefined, much less documented means is insulting to the intelligence of all, but she gets away with it thanks to our major media.
Where Australia has 29% of the world's known uranium deposits and China is fully aware nuclear energy is becoming more necessary for them to develop by the day as they are killing their people with smog and lethal gaseous waste. The sands of Australia are going to look very good, indeed. And, where the Australians have been disarmed by their own government they would be a pushover to invade and defeat. Thus, China is arming as much of the world sleeps in lethal ignorance of the kind that wins elections in America.
