Tom Perez, DNC, "Tax The Rich!"

DemocratsJoin us.
The GOP's tax plan benefits the rich at the expense of working people -- add your name to tell congressional Republicans to create a tax plan that works for every American:

Adrian --
Trump, Pence, and congressional Republicans just released the outline for their tax plan. I can summarize it for you in five words: tax breaks for the rich.

They propose cutting taxes for billionaires, millionaires, and big corporations -- with nearly half of the tax cuts going to the top one percent, while corporations with offshore profits get a massive $550 billion tax cut.

And hardworking Americans will bear the cost.

This tax scheme is the latest Republican attack on working families, just like their plans to cut health care, Social Security, and education. It's the same kind of top-down economics Republicans have tried for decades, where the rich get richer at the expense of working families.

We've been down that road before, and it got us into the worst recession since the Great Depression -- we can't afford to go back.

We need real reform that will work for every American, not just those at the top. Add your name: tell Republicans it's time to scrap their tax-cuts-for-the-rich plan and start from scratch:

Thanks,
Tom Perez, Chair
Democratic National Committee

Dear Tom:
It amazes me that men who have risen to your level in a national political party are so obviously devoid of an understanding of economics.  "The rich" are a very positive force in an economy. They inspire the people to dream as the opportunity to become wealthy is exciting and rich people generate risk capital. There is nothing more motivating than dreams.  They inspire young people to think, solve problems and invent new things and ways.

Without such inspiration nothing happens.

Take a cue from nature: Healthy plants and animals grow, expand, increase their capacities and numbers, but they cannot if you take the seed.  That is exactly what high taxation does. You are anti-life, unnatural and destructive.  The people have apparently caught on, in spite of your frantic efforts, earthy, misguided efforts.

"Rich people" are the source of most new product investment capital.  Only one of every 1300 new patents makes more than its' filing fees.  Why?  Are 1299 bad ideas?  No, in every case there is a lack of investment capital of the kind "rich people" create and invest in America.  They are critical to progress two ways:  They cause dreams, fund them and bring them to life! You are anti-life Tom with your "Tax the rich!"
