Add your name: tell Congress to stop trying to take away our health care.
Adrian, if you have a friend or loved one who has ever been sick and relied on insurance to cover the cost of their medical care, I need you to take action right now. Unless we stop them, House Republicans are about to vote again to repeal Obamacare and replace it with something much, much worse. One of the most important and most valuable provisions of the Affordable Care Act is its protection for people with pre-existing conditions. The law prohibits insurance companies from raising the costs of your care simply because you're sick. The GOP wants to gut that protection. That means that, if you get sick, your insurance company can raise your premiums -- even if that means you can't afford the insurance anymore. It's immoral, and there's a damn good reason the Affordable Care Act made it illegal. But if the GOP gets their way, millions of Americans could suddenly find themselves unable to afford insurance, with no way to pay for hospital bills or insurance. People could die. The only thing that will stop this is if we raise our voices against it. Adrian, you can't afford to wait a minute. Sign on to stop this health care disaster: Thank you -- this is so, so important. Dear Donna:
Why are you still at the DNC after having been caught passing the debate questions to Hillary? Is this the Democratic Party of FDR or that of Wendel Wilke, Alger Hiss and Harry Dexter White, all Communists? Is it true proven skullduggery is a resume' enhancement in the Democratic Party? Gee, this rather like "Blazing Saddles."
Mr. Obama's Affordable Health Care Act is not Affordable, transferable, permit Dr. choice, or of value to anyone but a terminally ill person who will never have to pay the bill with the $6,000 personal and $12,000 family deductible. That is a scam, pure and simple, but so few paying people are signing up it is dying a lingering death of being sucked dry by freeloaders, all voting Democrats, registered, or not, legal, or not, sick, or not, but getting pain pills; lots of pain pills. Why not? They are all Democrats. What I think Congress should do is kill it and turn the whole thing over to the open market which always gives us the best products and services at the lowest prices.
