I’m furious. This morning, the head of the EPA said humans don’t cause climate change. (Even though the agency he runs says humans are the number one cause.) The EPA chief is supposed to protect our environment! But it’s clear that Republicans plan to do nothing of the sort. Will you sign on and pledge to protect the EPA and environment from Republicans? President Trump appointed a climate change denier to lead the EPA -- and now we’re seeing the effects. Grassroots Democrats can’t let these horrifying claims go unnoticed. Will you fight back? Sign on and tell the Republicans that we won’t let them destroy our planet. Thank you, Nancy ---------------------------- Dear Nancy: This is your best bit since you stood at that microphone saying "affordable" so many times the reporters thought your needle got stuck in a groove.  As it turned out "affordable" was not true. The problems with "health care" are not only that it was misnamed and a fraud from title to "-End-" of the 2400 page bill, but you people have never attacked the real problems:   Gouging by doctors, hospitals and the "ethical drug" industry. Not one of the three is ethical, all are opportunistic pirates preying on ignorance and the corruption of government, paying you off in money and stock share opportunities that are illegal for us, but not for you! Physicians have four things:  Knowledge of anatomy, a symptom classification system called "diagnosis," a pharmacopia of potions, nostrums, elixers and injectables, but most importantly a necklace they call "a stethoscope."  Without that last item, an ability to get away with mispronounced Latin and Greek, we would not know they were entitled to the contents of our wallets, bankbooks, investments and insurance to keep us alive long enough to pay their outrageous bills. If you and the rest of your scoundrels, liars and thieving comrades would get to work and sort out the rat's nest that medicine has been allowed to become on your watch, "sick care" would be reasonable as now it is not. I learned all about doctors when I was two years old and badly burned in an accident:  One such "practitioner" refused to send me to a hospital saying, "...he won't make it through the night." My mother sat beside me all night, holding my hand and kept me alive with shear will. I learned in those hours the human body is a self-healing mechanism if not set upon by men who think they are God. In truth what was killing so many juvenile burn victims was a staphylococcus infection they were getting in hospitals because the critical research and analysis had not been properly published. That is a flaw to this day that we can repair, but the elected ruling class does not listen to criticism or suggestions where laws would be effective unless graft is possible. As usual, Nancy, you have your eye on the wrong ball when it comes to the people.  Problems cannot be solved until we have the right people in place to define them and that begins with you.  I say "delete!"
