Comatose, Catatonic or Cunning?

Director James Comey has clearly long had ambitions as an author of political fiction and we would appreciate it if he would wait until he is off the job before he starts a second career.  His first inquiry into Hillary Clinton's tenure as Secretary of State was a joke or a writing attempt as he did not convene a Grand Jury for subpoena power, the "teeth" of a real investigation.  This was not a serious effort and everyone in a responsible position knows it.

When all of Hillary's staff subpoenaed by Congress took the Fifth Amendment, indicating they had done something wrong or had knowledge of an infraction or felony, Comey failed to question any of them; not one! Again, this was not an inquiry or investigation:  It was a maneuver the full nature of which Mr. Comey revealed when he mishandled the computer of Anthony Weiner, estranged husband of Huma Abadein, closest associate to Mrs. Clinton.

Mr. Weiner's computer, being investigated by the FBI for his junenile pornography activities, a Federal felony, was found to have 650,000 official emails to and from Secretary Hillary Clinton!

Given this number, the data tranche included copies of the 30,000 Mrs. Clinton erased claiming they were only about her Yoga session appointments and Chelsea's million Dollar wedding, which was paid for by The Clinton Foundation, as a charity!  Since when is a wedding a charitable undertaking?  Now they are grooming Chelsea to run for Congress after she fumbled a $600,000 a year NBC on-air job during which she made three appearances.  She was not bad, but not exciting or interesting either and we just cannot get over she is Chelsea Clinton!  The poor kid is handicapped for life!

We have to wonder how Mrs. Clinton could deal with 650,000 emails in terms of production, reading and responding to.  Certainly each would take a few minutes, say five.  Mrs. Clinton was in office less than eight years, slightly less than 2920 days, so she would have to produce over 110 emails a day after reading the incoming and then respond, but that would take over nine hours!  OK, she worked overtime and did nothing but emails for eight years.

This means she had no meetings, made no speeches, did nothing but punch her Blackberry keyboard with her thumbs while flying all over the world taking no time to talk to sources, officials, the President or anyone else.  In other words this 650,000 email collection contains a lot of stuff generated by people who likely had no right to be communicating in her account and server!

During the campaign Hillary claimed 17 Federal agencies had concluded the Russians hacked the DNC that caused her to fire Debbie Wasserman Schultz and install Donna Brazile, which is like going from the frizball to the fire.  A quick Internet search reveals that only two, The Director of National Intelligence and Homeland Security have even made statements with one saying "No evidence" and the other, "No comment."  In other words, zero, zip, nada!

There is no way Mr. Comey could conclude there was nothing of interest in that 650,000 tranche in a few days or weeks!  Just reading and organizing the meta-data: name, address, classification, etc. would take a week or two if done by machine! This is a huge job for thousands of hours requiring a team of hip FBI people. There is much more to the Comey story and we will hear it, but when?  Is Mr. Comey comatose, catatonic or cunning?
