Saving Islam

We appear to be under invasion by Islamic warriors of a new kind. They are coming to turn America into an Islamic "caliphate" under Sharia law, that from the "Holy Qur'an," the bible of Islam.

These invaders have killed thousands of Americans, including those of 9/11 as that was the "Pearl Harbor" of their "Jihad," religious war.  Many Americans want to invoke the simple solution of barring all Muslims, as has Japan.  The counter arguments are that the number of invaders is small and such a measure is unconstitutional under the "freedom of religion" provision.

Islam may be a religion, but it is also a plan for conquest under the cover of promoting a faith.  What faith cannot stand alone on it's principles?  If it is so unappealing and unconvincing to the people that they must be threatened to join then it is of no value.  Islam threatens those who do not believe in Allah as the one god with death.  That disqualifies it as a religious faith by reasonable logic.

Pro Islamic people claim the number of Jihad, warring, Muslims is 100,000 of the 1.5 billion Muslims world wide.  That is 0.007%, even less than the 0.04% CO2 in the atmosphere sold-out scientists and politicians tell us will destroy Earth.  If true this should be a very simple problem to solve.

All the "radicalized Muslims" we have suffered have been associated with a mosque.  Why not raid that mosque, look for weapons, bomb making material, interview every adult with expert interrogators to find what goes on there. "Are they anti-American?"  If we conclude they are dangerous, blow up the mosque and let the rubble stand as a monument with signs "This is Radical Islam."

Meanwhile we work with our American Muslim mosques to develop a New Qur'an, just as the Old Testament was updated to the King James Version for  Christianity.  We extract the good, stop the genetically suicidal practice of marrying first cousins, end honor killings, permit marriage outside the faith, erase the demonization of dogs, pigs, shellfish, reading other books and on wherever we find cultural suicide in the Qur'an and create "The New Qur'an" or "The American Qur'an" in the name of finding a destiny for the religion

The irony of all this is that the people of the Arabian Peninsula were 1,000 years ahead of Europe in every field: science, engineering, mathematics, navigation and cartography, medicine, but they lacked the element of open experimentation and publication that fired the rapid advances seen in Europe where the scientific method was developed and popularized.

This will not be an easy task:  Penn State Professor Philip Jenkins claims the Old Testament is more violent than the Qur'an in his book "Dark Passages," a comparative, politically correct study of Islam and the Old Testament. He  claims "Violence in the Qur'an is largely defense against attack."  We have read the Qur'an and find no such evidence.  It is entirely offensive in the promotion of the faith. Why do increasing numbers of academic scholars do such crimes in the name of political correctness?

You can obtain a Qur'an free for the asking at many Internet sites and you will see on virtually every other page "...death to the infidel (non-believer)" and other such offensive instructions to the Islamic faithful.  We do not know how much time Professor Jenkins has spent in the showers of the Penn State Athletic Department or whether or not he dropped his soap, but something is very wrong with that man.

In an on-line search of the King James Version of the New Testament we looked for "violence in the name of the faith," and several other such iterations to find no examples.  We did find James 1:19 which read:  "Wherefore, my beloved brethern, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath," and Matthew 26:52, "Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword" as typical examples of the text.

It is especially ironic that the people of Arabian Peninsula, Arabs and Jews have more in common than not, but one culture chose a path to bring their faith to a less violent, more open reality when the one that chose what is seen as the wrong path was so far ahead of anyone on the planet, save perhaps the Chinese, who were unknown to them.

Today no man on this planet is more than 1/16th second from any other person, in terms of communication, so the challenge of our time is to sift through the good, throw out the bad and take on the task of saving Islam.
