Let It Be

It is soon the second anniversary of the death of Michael Brown. A bronze plaque is standing at the location where Micheal Brown attacked an armed police officer by attempting to ram him with his head down as if he were a bull.  The plaque reads:

A very large young man, he was capable of doing great bodily harm so the officer shot him with his service pistol putting one bullet in the top his head to end the attack.  Michael never knew what hit him and he never knew how to behave to a police officer or store owner, or who knows who else...

Michael had attacked the officer while he was in his patrol car, trying to get his gun, but the officer got it, made two shots that slightly wounded Brown who then tried to get away, but turned back to "head butt" the officer who then shot him fatally.

The few witnesses first lied about the incident, but on questioning broke down to tell the real story exonerating the officer, but as this was transpiring angry blacks destroyed much of Ferguson, Missouri.

That Michael Brown had committed a strong-arm robbery of a liquor store 15 minutes before the incident made no difference to the angry mobs who were supplemented with professional agitators Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, on the downsides of career notoriety, but still potent in a little town like Ferguson.

Few will deny African Americans have had a violent history of suffering repression for which the word, "downtrodden" well describes and most committed by white people.  No sensible person wants to return to that era, but "black" anger continues because there is money and power in hate.

Those prolonging hate have a lot to own up to as they have taken the title "leader."  The only real leader who achieved international stature was Dr. Martin Luther King.  His death was one of the great tragedies of our time.  If he had lived America would be very different today as he had a clear vision of a brighter day for his people.

The "black" population of America is now 13.3%.  With the attitudes expressed by "Black lives matter!" people what if they were all to leave for a new country in Africa. What would happen to America?

Our prison population would drop 37%.  There would be 53% fewer gang members. Obesity would drop 11%.  The average IQ scores would rise 7.4 points making us third in the world tied with Japan.  Average SAT scores would rise 100 pts.  Average ACT scores would go up 5.5 pts.  AIDS and HIV would decline by 65%. The social disease Chlamydia would drop 54%. Gonorrhea would drop 69%.  Syphilis would decline 58%. The average American income would rise over $20,000 a year.  The number of
people in poverty would drop 34% and homelessness would drop 57%. Welfare cases would go down 42%,

Democrats would lose 25% of their voting base and have great difficulty ever winning another national election.  Why "black" people vote over 90% for Democrats when they have done nothing for them to point of ruin with badly designed programs is both a vexing question and the crime of our time.

The "Black Lives Matter" movement was founded on the death of Michael Brown and the false story first told about it.  Building on a lie is a sure path to failure.  He never did hold up his hands in the gesture BLM people claim and emulate.  What is the right way for our Negroes?  And, we use "Negro" is the anthropologically correct name for the people just as we use "Caucasian" for "white" people. Negroes are not "African-Americans."  They are Americans.  They were born here and should not be hyphenated.

We are the one place on the planet where all have come together for a better life.  Every race and culture has brought something to America and in turn made the best of everything for reasonable prices and the highest standard of living on the planet. Let it be.
