Graham Crackers?

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham has had one of the most erratic political careers of anyone in the history of Congress. He started in the House, hit the national stage in the Clinton scandals as a young, strong conservative lawyer with a military justice background. Then he became a Senator, was dating conservative lady lawyer Laura Ingraham of TV and radio, but that ended. Lindsey has not been the same since. Is he seeking revenge on conservatives? Or, does he have to be liberal to get a date? D.C. is strange territory; many women there thought Michael Kinsley was a "real guy."

Senator Graham is a RINO, Republican In Name Only: He champions anthropogenic global warming when America is learning not only is it nonsense, but unaffordable. Where energy is so much a part of modern life and carbon based fuels are the least expensive every way, Mr. Graham is becoming a joke.

Before the 2008 crash, 41% of those polled were “very concerned” about global warming. That dropped to 28% in the most recent poll. Of eight environmental issues the top is the purity of water and dead last is “global warming.” Polling data of this kind is gold to politicians. An issue dropping 31% is a dead horse, but Lindsey Graham is flogging it.

The East Anglia University CRU “ClimateGate” emails documenting data manipulation to create the famous Michael Mann “Hockey Stick” by changing signs on the Medieval Warming period deviations has driven a wooden stake through the anthropogenic warming hoax.

The Medieval Warming period was exactly what the “Chicken Little” greens are wailing about when between 800 AD and 1300 AD Europe was two Celsius degrees warmer than now. Grapes were growing in England, Europe had grain surpluses, the people were happy and at peace. This is an outcome the greens cannot abide.

Today in England Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s former Chancellor of the Exchequer Lord Lawson, wrote the book “An Appeal to Reason: A Cool Look at Global Warming,” asked, “Will an increase over 100 years of between eight to 13 degrees mean the end of civilization as we know it?” Then he noted humans live in Singapore with an average annual temperature of 84º F and Helsinki with average of 41º F, a difference of 43 degrees! Finally asking, “Is the gradual northerly creep of wine-producing vineyards necessarily a bad thing? He left out that the First Axiom of Meteorology is: "Warmer - wetter; Cooler - drier." Apparently one US politician believes otherwise or as the English posit, "Is Senator Graham crackers?"
