COVID-19 became a politically polarizing issue due to politics smothering President Donald Trump. He was quick to endorse the use of an inexpensive and historically reliable drug, taking it himself, prophylacticly after his COVID-19 diagnosis.
The media and others on the left, however, were dead set against hydroxychloroquine, calling the President irresponsible for encouraging its use and obtaining large amounts from an alternate source when the usual avenues were overwhelmed and without product.
How many people died needlessly because they were sent home without medication or were afraid to go to the doctor or were afraid to take hydroxychloroquine because of what they were hearing about it in the mainstream media.
There is no doubt corruption in the COVID cases involves the American Medical Association, AMA, that lied about using hydroxychloroquine as the patent had expired and the drug makers, who pay the AMA doctors billions of Dollars were opposed to it.
The headline “AMA Rescinds Previous Statement Against Prescription of Hydroxychloroquine to COVID-19 Patients” is a surprising move that officially rescinded a previous statement against the use of Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in the treatment of COVID-19 patients, giving physicians the okay to return to using Hydroxichloriquone.
The AMA did not object when the major media said HCQ would kill people in their cooperation with the AMA. This not just a lie, but it is one that caused the deaths of an unknown number of people, but we believe a careful statistical analysis would reveal the number. Doctors are not gods, scientists or mathematicians. They are practitioners who take their instructions from the American Medical Association’s Journal, JAMA, and the Readers Digest.
The major media went over the top saying, “Mr. President, you’re killing people, you’re killing people, you’re asking people to die."
One prominent cable news person accused Trump of killing people by suggesting that hydroxychloroquine was okay to use and the mainstream media mob quickly fell into parade formation and parroted that lie.
“Previously, the AMA had issued a statement in March that was highly critical of HCQ in regards to its use as a proposed treatment by some physicians in the early stages of COVID-19. In addition to discouraging doctors from ordering the medication in bulk.”
The AMA had suggested there was no reason to prescribe it and it could in fact kill or seriously injure those who take it so people died because the AMA repressed the use of it for higher profits for the “ethical drug” makers. Some bad joke! And all this while the major media were beating President Trump about the head and shoulders and accusing him of “…killing people for profits!” when he had no financial interest in hydroxichloroquine in any way! Were he not President he would have a good cause of action here to say nothing of the media meddling in the Presidential election!
As Rush Limbaugh said
on-air, “How many people bought into the idea that hydroxychloroquine could
kill you and Trump is advocating that you take it? And there are countless
other examples of this kind of distortion of things that Trump has said. But
now all of a sudden, guess what? They’re perfectly fine. Everything’s okay.” So much for the AMA and JAMA. At least the Readers Digest has not committed any crimes.

You have to beg on your knees your family doctor for an antibiotic for a sinus infection. That's how bad the practice of medicine has become in this country.
ReplyDeleteI hear you James! Who gave doctors the right to deny me opioids just because some people are addicted to them. I can carry a gun and if I shoot myself in the foot, it's my own darn fault.
DeletePerhaps the day will come the people will realize doctors are not only not gods, but they are not "scientists" either. They are practioners following the rules and orders of the American Medical Association, and as I often jest, The Readers Digest Disease of the month.
ReplyDeleteHow does one prove a negative that people died because hydroxychloroquinone was not administered?
ReplyDeletePresident Trump and Rudy Giuliani both used prophylactic dosages long BEFORE each went into hospital with Covid-19. They had our best doctors and were given drugs not available to the rest of us. Hydroxychloroquine was not administered to the President after he tested positive.
The logic is based on the fact that many similar patients who got Hydroxychloroquine while in identical circumstances lived. The logic is simple. The data is fundamental and evidence court acceptable. Yes, the logic is not perfect, "pig tight" as my late mentor Barry Farber would say, but we have to define our standards or we have no science or justice at all. It is just that simple. And, no one has ever proved a negative proposition.
