Biden Voter Regrets

Now that Joe Biden’s COVID-19 policies are known some who voted for him are in deep voter’s remorse and they have not heard one-tenth of what he and his cohorts have in mind.

It has been hard to pin down precisely what a President Biden would do for the pandemic. In August, Biden said he would “shut the country down” if  Coronavirus cases resurged.  In September, he backtracked; “There’s going to be no need, in my view, to be able to shut down the whole economy.”  While not a coherent sentence, we get the message, maybe...   

Perhaps someone told him he does not nor will he ever have that power, as long as we have our Constitution, but wait!  The Democrats have long wanted to make great changes in that!

Joe claims, “I will follow the science!  The doctors.”  Joe does not realize doctors are not scientists.  They are practitioners.  Doctors abide by the Journal of the American Medical Association, AMA, and the Readers Digest.  Medical scientists do experiments and medical researchers determine what works by studies and meetings with bureaucrats, publish results in the AMA journal and doctors follow.  Doctor errors are the second leading cause of death in the United States.

Joe claims he will “follow the science,” which is a non-answer because he is not a doctor.  He can only follow JAMA, the Journal of the American Medical Association and the Congress product laws that he can sign to make them law.  Joe has no clear idea of what the President can do, much less what a President should not do: Including take bribes from foreign leaders as he has for at least 40 years.

Biden’s choice of coronavirus advisers focuses more light on what the country could expect should the former Vice President enter the Oval Office as President.  

Dr. Michael Osterholm believes a four to six week shutdown could get the virus under control.  But, this ignores the fact that “getting the virus under control” means building “herd immunity,” meaning all are immune by having antigens in our blood which we achieve by exposure to the disease or getting injections of an anti-virus  or “antigen.”

Joe Biden claims the government  can “pay people to lose their jobs” by leveraging the increased savings that Americans have acquired during the crisis, and that we could “bring back the economy” by the second quarter of 2021!

This is known as the Osterholm plan is to force the country into another recession, then loot personal savings to pay our way out of it, amassing trillions of Dollars of government debt in the process. And those who remember the slogan “two weeks to flatten the curve” should be highly skeptical of Osterholm’s four-to six-week lockdown timeline.

Dr. Michael Osterholm, Director of the Infectious Disease Center at the University of  Minnesota says we should shut down the country until we get an anti-virus to inject.  Dr. Osterholm apparently has forgotten the history of the last dozen such viri we have had to deal with and that they all have their greatest impact on the elderly and infirm.  The most severe action we should take is to isolate these people from the general population who are carrying these viri.  That would save our economy and deal with the disease, but all of these people are manipulating this entity for what they can squeeze out it for themselves in terms of money and power.

Some in the Biden camp who praise Communist China as a model for fighting the disease ignoring the fact they do not report data of what is happening in China and we would be foolish to believe it if they did as everything is always wonderful in Communist countries unless you are living in one.  We have no idea of what happens in these countries as everything is a “state secret.”

Biden has also enlisted the advice of Dr. Zeke Emanuel, who published no one should live past 75 in an Atlantic article an likely welcomes COVID-19 to America!  Joe Biden is 77, but is apparently unaware Zeke Emanuel is celebrating the coronavirus, since it mainly kills people in age groups that Zeke believes are past any meaningful existence anyway?

If we follow his science there could be more Gov. Andrew Cuomo-like policies of placing infected people in nursing homes for maximum effect.  At least 30, and perhaps 3000 people died as a result of that Cuomo stunt.

Biden has promoted a national mask mandate, and Dr. Anthony Fauci suggests that even with a working vaccine America may have to stay masked until 2022.  Dr. Fauci added those concerned with too many government restrictions on their freedom should “do what they’re told,”  He would fit right in with the authoritarian tone of a prospective Biden regime.  

The Biden camp is proposing a “national supply commander” to “take command of the national supply chain for essential equipment, medications, and protective gear.”  If you don’t think this type of centralized control and burdensome extra layer of bureaucracy will in fact increase shortages, you are not aware of Soviet history.  Democrats tend to see more government as the solution, so Americans should stock up on supplies now before the “supply commander” empties the shelves again.

Critics scoffed at the line in President Trump’s stump speech saying Democrats wanted to cancel Thanksgiving. But a few weeks later, here we are, with Thanksgiving gatherings being made misdemeanor offenses in some jurisdictions.

California’s Thanksgiving rules were particularly detailed and nettlesome, down to banning singing and chanting, mandating disposable plates instead of the family china, and only allowing gatherings outdoors, for two hours or less. Of course not everyone wanted to do what they were told – for example, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was forced to cancel a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for the small number of newly elected Democratic members of Congress after she came down with a case of bad optics.

The surge in new COVID-19 cases is concerning, but that is all in the nature of these disease entities. We believe the data show clearly that the school shutdowns are inappropriate as the kids are utterly immune through age nine and we are nearly so to age 40 and do not become significantly liable until age 50 and even then the infection rate is 1.3%!

The real “victim class” for COVID -19 is anyone over  70 who has other health problem like diabetes, obesity, asthma or heart disease.

The current spike in COVID cases is taking place globally, in countries that have had lockdowns, like France, Italy and Germany, and countries that haven’t like Sweden. The new surge likely the natural course of the disease like the 1918 Spanish Flu, which also surged in the winter.

Sadly, a sneaky autocrat like Joe Biden may well turn out to be worse than the disease.  In 1983 he voted to put an income tax on 50% of all Social Security benefits.  In 1990 he wrote and passed the “Gun Free Zones Act” that brought us school and theater shootings that have killed at least 879 people.  In 2000 he voted against the Estate Tax Elimination Act that takes a significant part of estates and has destroyed many family farms and small businesses.
