2016 Death Statistics

While this set of statistics is nearly three years old it is that much more instructive as we know some of the more recent statistics and the trends therein are astounding.  60,000 people died in the last 12 months due to drug abuse with most from illegal substances that came into this country through our border with Mexico, but there is resistance to our building a wall that would quench that business. 

The number of people who died in the last 12 months by "doctor error" is over 120,000 which shows we seem to have arrived at a eustatic level as this rate is world wide and only proves the reverence we hold for the men and women in white jackets with stethoscopic neclaces may be more appropriate on television than within touching distance.  

I have had problems with them since I was two years old and within the last three months when I had to elect a different path than recommended as it was clear to me this man had his instruments on my wallet more than my heart.  His recommendations put me in far greater danger than I would be if he had only told me to stop taking a prescription documented in the literature for causing my problem. When he renewed my prescription for what had turned into poison for me, again per the literature, I knew he was concentrating on my wallet as his recommendation would have cost $100,000 at his hospital!

Much of the expense of medicine today is due to felonious overcharging, but that is only an opener for a story I will later document fully.  The doctors and dentists of America have become bandits in white coats almost without exception.  They are not only asking for government intrusion and regulation.  They have made it necessary.

Our great concern here is in the gun death figure of 5,276, but to listen to major media and Democrat politicians you would think thousands of people of all ages, and especially "The children!" are dying in the streets daily.  

The school shootings have been great fodder for people who want to disarm us.  The American people are ignorant of gun control.  Since WWII 39 nations have gone Communist largely because they first disarmed the people who then had no real way to object.  Every one of those nations failed economically as the people feared their own government, saw no way to wealth or even security as they feared their leaders.  The murder rates in all of those countries soared with most dying of knife wounds.

While we may outlaw guns, we will never outlaw knives unless we can come up with a way to cut meat, apples and whittle.  In every case where guns have been banned crime and deaths at the hands of criminals have "gone through the roof!"  Where for most of our history we have been at, or near, the bottom of the frequency list with 10 homicides per 100,000 strict gun control countries like Guatamala and Ecuador have 80 per 100,000!
