Note From Cindy McCain

Dear Friends -

My family and I cannot thank you enough for the support you have given us over the past weeks and months. The country's response to the values and legacy that John represents has been overwhelming. We are so grateful and determined to continue John's fights.

With that in mind, I published an Op-Ed in this morning's edition of USA Today talking about serving a cause greater than ourselves, and urging those who want to honor John's legacy to join us in the arena and support the McCain Institute. To read the Op-Ed, click here.

Now more than ever, John would not want us to back down from a fight. He never did. I would really appreciate it if you would push this Op Ed out to your own email and social media networks, along with a request to your contacts to support the McCain Institute. We can all use the hashtag #InTheArena, and include this link, which directs people to the Institute's work to spread John's legacy and share moments about our own good fights #InTheArena.

Now it is our turn to stay strong and fight, as John would want us to. Please join me and so many others in this effort - we cannot do this without you.

Warmly,  Cindy McCain

----------------------------------

Dear Mrs. McCain:

You are a magnificent lady to honor as complex a man as your late husband who was driven by the ghosts of his father and grandfather.

Long have there been stories of the difficulties of your marriage and yet you stayed with it in a time when so many couples get divorced.

You stayed in place with great dignity and purpose.  You were clearly the most stable force in his life and anyone thanking him for his service should be sure to include you in their blessings.

Sincerely, Adrian Vance
