It is now one year since the deadly and violent rally in Charlottesville and the Trump Floggers Auxiliary of the Democratic National Party is still pounding President Trump for having inartfully finished a comment where he was trying to say, "There are good people on both sides but they have been misled," by omitting the underlined final phrase.
Why he did not correct this, nor did his people point it out to him when it was so obvious, we will never know, but can only excuse positing the continual confusion of being President of the United States, simultaneously the best and worst job in the world.
As you read, white supremacists are gearing up for their second rally in Washington, D.C. Let us be clear: This hatred and bigotry has no place in our country. It is not poisonous. It reflects badly on the perpetrators and it widens the gap to be healed as it must be.
Nonetheless, we received the following in the name of Nancy Pelosi:
"1OO,OOO SIGNATURES NEEDED IMMEDIATELY: Will you stand with me and denounce tonight’s racist rally?"

Adrian, today weighs heavy on my heart. Exactly one year ago, I watched as white supremacists held a violent and deadly rally in Charlottesville. It was a disturbingly low point in my life and in our country’s history. Yet President Trump claimed both sides -- the peaceful protestors and the deadly aggressors -- contained “good people.” Adrian, you and I both know who the actual good people were. And as the Unite the Right rally gathers in Washington, D.C. for its second year, it is our duty to take a stand against the violence and hatred shown by those deadly aggressors. Please, I need every grassroots supporter to unite with me, and denounce tonight’s rally. Will you add your name next to mine before midnight? |
Thanks, Nancy Pelosi -------------------------------------- Dear Nancy: Hate is a blinding emotion, in this case to the intent of removing a duly elected President of the United States, a man in which a Constitutional majority of the 3141 counties he won all but 60 some. Some of what has been presented on TV and the Internet is clearly treasonous or seditious. In hearing his statement on Charlottesville most of us knew what he was trying to say and that he omitted one critical word "misguided." This was an unfortunate opportunity for the people that have bought into the hate for which the Democrat Party has so long stood for and promoted. Google "Pictures of 1924 Democratic Convention" and you will see legions of Democrats in Ku Klux Klan costumes parading in front of the capitol building and en masse' gatherings. Yours has been the party of hate far more demonstrably than the Republicans who not only freed the slaves in 1865, but overcame school segregation 100 years later and passed the Civil Rights bill by collaborating with Democrat President Lyndon Baynes Johnson. The simple fact of the matter is that Republicans are about getting things done while the Democratic party burnishes their patent on hate. Adrian Vance |
