EPA Administrator Pruitt made the following remarks at a meeting in Nevada, Iowa December 1:
The Des Moines Register reports Pruitt called farmers the first 'conservationists, environmentalists.' "Pruitt
said the country needed to discuss what 'true environmentalism' means:
'We have been blessed with a bounty of natural resources. And some view
that as 'We should simply not use them' — that we should put up fences
and not use our natural resources. 'I don't buy that. We, as a country,
have an obligation to feed the world and power the world,' he said,
getting applause. 'When you have the natural resources like we do, we
should use them to benefit our neighbors, our country and world.'"
I
have long maintained the United States is the most blessed nation in
the world with more than more than one-third of coal, oil, and natural
gas and one million square miles of good farmland. Along with these
assets we have the most resourceful people in the world who can develop
these assets if government does not create rules that prevent
development.
From
2009 to 2017, our government obstructed development of these assets in
the name of a false premise carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels
causes catastrophic global warming. The premise was based on
projections by computer models of year 2100 global temperatures. The
computer models can't be verified because they are unable to predict
past or present global temperatures.
In
spite of government interference by the Obama Administration, the
nation was able to struggle with negligible economic growth due to these
vast assets. The Trump administration, that started January 20,
2017, has seen economic growth and reduced unemployment by adopting
policies so adequately spelled out by EPA Administrator Pruitt.

The basic tenet of the "Evil CO2, We're all gonna die!" alarmists is easily shown to be false as we do in "CO2 Is Innocent" free at "https://sciencefrauds.blogspot.com" where you can clip-copy the six page paper and have the chemistry, physics and stoichiometry verified by an high school Chemistry teacher or anyone who has had college chemistry and physics.
America has 4.5% of the world's people, but the our Gross Domestic is 24.3% of all the world produces, 5.4 times as much as the average world citizen. We are blessed with excellent natural resources, but so are many other countries that are unable to exploit them and the usual cause is bad government. The last thing people in power want to see is someone who can challenge them. Where they cannot get bigger than life they can crush their people and North Korea is the leading example. The mechanism is at work in many other places and we say it was the case when Barack Hussein Obama was our President. Leading Democrats have turned into an effete corps of repressive leaders and now wonder why they are losing elections and respect. It takes people like Scott Pruitt to repair the errors and evils that have been put upon us by people in search more power.
