I got a quick call from Mrs. Farber today as they had a guest problem, "Can you come on..." Well, when have I ever said "No," to an opportunity to be on-the-air ventilating on the insanities of the day.
Most are not aware of the implications of the FISA courts which are a "Star Chamber" proceeding not far from the days of Henry VIII, a man who is well documented in history as a really evil SOB. We got all the way up to the Smoot-Howley Trade Tariff Act which has been blamed as the cause of the Great Depression by the likes of Jude Wanniski, Editor at the Wall Street Journal and an economist in his own right, but I say was writing cover for the bankers who are really the cause of every one of our "panics," recessions and depressions. It was a very appropriate discussion as China now has an 8.5% growth rate and ours may be 2% if we are lucky and the blame all belongs in Washington, DC. Enjoy...
