We do not know if this cartoon is based on a true story, but it could be as such stories abound with many this ridiculous. The idea of a having an insurance that costs up to $1,000 a month for an individual with a $6,000 deductible threshold you must spend before getting the first dime from your insurance company is more than ridiculous. It is a ripoff and a crime!
If you have seen Zeke Emanual, brother of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanual, and an ObamaCare author, defend his creation on TV you will know why the bill is so evil. This man, who cannot shut up, give his host common courtesy or a chance to do the interview without going defensive, yelling, showing all his dental work repeatedly, give more evidence his is a really screwed-up family and make us wonder how this guy ever got through medical school or rise to prominence unless being obnoxious insures everyone passes you to avoid ever having you again as a student, gives us a clue as to why ObamaCare is a legislated tool of revenge.
Mother Nature likes new models as she searches for perfection and at the end of each species term she produces really odd examples of her craft apparently just for laughs or to relieve frustration. Rush Limbaugh was the first to say it was designed to fail in order to get America to design a European style socialized medicine system. In the past the American Medical Association fought these efforts off as this is a key to socialists and they have been trying since the term of Woodrow Wilson to grab medical care for government.
This will always be a battle as long as we have control of the number of doctors produced and patents not only for medicines, but now molecules! As a US Patent author and holder I can understand the patenting of a process to make a drug, but not the molecule itself or even a seed! Somebody got paid off for this practice and signs of corruption in the "ethical drug" business abound.
If you see a list of the "compensation packages" for the top 18 drug company Presidents you will note they are at, or close to, $20 million per year and you can bet the Executive Suite is full of VP's who are all getting $10 million, or better, annual salaries, plus benefits worth another seven figures. The point is this problem has to be worked at both ends: The providers and consumers.
Hospitals are outrageous in their billings as they are a trillion Dollar industry that puts the pirates of the Spanish Main to shame. Every one has a President, who is a chubby guy who sits in his office every day trying to look busy, goes off to a local service club luncheon to speak every few weeks, wail about his problems, beg for money and scarf up some vulcanized chicken. For this he gets $1 million per year!

Mr. Trump has been dealt a good hand in this round as he fulfilled his campaign promise to do something about it and gave it a solid try, but was sabotaged by John McCain seeking revenge for having said he was not a hero. The truth of the matter is that McCain may not have wanted to go home from the Hanoi Hilton as he was flying too low and got shot down, which he knew the Command would know from other pilot's observations and probably kick him out.
This was the sixth US Navy multi-million Dollar aircraft John McCain had destroyed in not flying by the rules of the mission. If he had defected to China then he would have been declared a Red Navy Air Ace having destroyed more than five US military aircraft. He is the only American who could make claim to that honor in China or Russia. So now he's a hero? Trump was right!
Mr. Trump has played this issue perfectly: He made an effort to repair it an failed, exposing the weakest Republicans in the process, but none were surprising. Susan Collins will do anything to get in front of a camera with her affected, wimpy speaking voice and hade tics. McCain, God bless his guts, knows he is not long for this veil of tears, but is determined to "go down in flames" and join his father and grandfather in the Valhalla of USN War Heroes as a McCain "Who fought to the bitter end!" At this point, who cares?
