John Podesta a Russian Spy?

John Podesta, 2016, Campaign Manager, Hillary Clinton 2016

From:  The Daily Caller

"The Government Accountability Institute (GAI) and The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group reveal Rep. Louie Gohmert is calling for a Congressional investigation regarding John Podesta's Russian connections and dealings.

Podesta was on the board of a Putin associated energy company with Russian officials getting $35 million from Putin's Russian government fund, according to Breitbart News in August 2016, in the 56-page GAI report  “From Russia with Money: Hillary Clinton, Russian Reset and Cronyism.”

Texas Representative Gohmert is on the House Judiciary Committee, says John Podesta’s participation in the Russia-funded firm “....needs to be reviewed to see if there really is something nefarious going on.”

Podesta was also on the executive board of the Russian energy company, Joule Unlimited, that received millions in Dollars from a Putin-connected Russian government fund.  Podesta was given “75,000 common shares” in Joule Unlimited, which he transferred to a holding company, Leonidio LLC,without making the required reports to the Federal Election Commission.

According to the GAI report, “Two months after Podesta joined the board, Vladimir Putin’s Rusnano Corporatian announced it would invest up to one billion Rubles, $35 million, in Joule Unlimited. That was one-fifth the entire amount of investment Dollars Joule received."

John Podesta's political ambitions have long been known and he is a bitter man for not having been chosen as a candidate for any public office in spite of decades of service to the DNC.  Rare is the man who can accept he is funny-looking, has odd mannerisms, speech patterns and is repulsive.  Like most of the his sort he seeks solace in money, lots of money.  To wit:

John Podesta failed to disclose his post on Joule Unlimited’s Board of Directors in his Federal financial disclosures before he became President Obama’s Senior Adviser in January 2014.  The Daily Caller reported Podesta’s role in funneling billions of devalued Russian currency into U.S. based high tech companies.  Where the Ruble is a weak currency that fluctuates wildly in the currency markets these transactions are questionable in several ways as the Ruble is comparatively easy to manipulate and only the most serious of scumbag scoundrels deal in currency manipulations.
The call for a Federal probe into Podesta’s Russian ties come during a partisan push to link President Donald Trump and his aides to Russian influence-peddling and collusion during the Presidential campaign when the only hard evidence is of Democrats participating in such schemes. However, evidence of collusion to advance Putin’s Russia started years before Trump announced his Presidential bid.
As Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton encouraged our involvement in a Russian government technology initiative called Skolkovo. The Russian government’s stated goal for Skolkovo, was as an “innovation city,” meant to be the Russian equivalent of Silicon Valley. Skolkovo was to house more than 30,000 workers in state-of-the-art facilities all Kremlin controlled.
Despite FBI and U.S. Army warnings Putin could use Skolkovo to accelerate Russian military technical capabilities, Hillary Clinton’s State Department and Campaign Manager John Podesta developed relationships with the Putin-Kremlin controlled entities in a way that could be called "collusion."
If it is a bit grand to call John Podesta a Russian spy it is no more outrageous than the accusations now cast at President Trump and his offspring while the Democrats continue to suffer men like John Podesta about whom we can only ask, "Is John Podesta a Russian spy?"
