President Obama spoke out this morning because it’s one of the most important days in our country’s history.
He told us to rally against the Republicans’ health care plan: Adrian -- we need to answer President Obama’s call and protect his legacy like never before. If we don’t fight back, the Republicans win. There’s never been a more important moment. Will you answer President Obama’s call and pitch in $1 before midnight?

Thank you, DCCC

Dear DCCC:
I believe Mr. Obama should be noted as, "Former President," or "Ex President" instead of "President" as he is not in office, but I do agree with your point and see the problem differently. Government never delivers anything efficiently as its' employees are often campaign legacy-hires and political appointees rather than people trained for or even want their jobs. They all want to be "Chiefs," rich and famous and make those rolls swell leaving fewer to do real work. Worse yet, they have disgust and disdain for their work, clients and superiors thus making an inferior workforce for 30% to 100% more money than they could get in the private sector.
It will be cold day in Hell before we pass a law that would prevent campaign workers from getting government job appointments, but that is what is needed. Or, we at least must set standards for those in government jobs so they are at least qualified. The situation has long been critical and one reason for the outrageous growth of government. For campaign people working for government is not a privilege. |
