Democrat Suicide

Monday March 22, 2017 was the best day the Democrats had since Hillary Clinton lost the election.  Democrats got the headline "FBI Director Confirms Investigation into Trump’s Links with Russian Government!"

Gasp! Bang, Pow!, Sock!  "FBI Director Comey admitted it!  Trump is a traitor! Trump’s an illegitimate President!  It’s only a matter of time before he’s impeached, jailed, and hanged for crimes against the United States!"  Their joy was palpable, to them, but not to anyone with a mind.

And on the two coasts, "Tough luck, Trump supporters, you backed the biggest American traitor since Benedict Arnold! Whoopty Do! Good luck explaining this one to your grandchildren, Republicans!"

Of course, those headlines ignored facts that James Comey denied having any evidence confirming Russia’s interference in the campaign swayed even vote in the election. Or, that several former U.S. intelligence officials, including former DNI Director James Clapper and former acting CIA Director Mike Morrell, who are not fans of Mr. Trump, confirmed there is no evidence to support a charge of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.  If Trump actually did collude with the Russians, the problem isn’t that we elected a traitor, but one of the biggest morons in history!  He would have committed one of the most easily confirmed crimes of this kind!  Meanwhile...

Russia is spending 17.6 billion Rubles, $318 million, on "RT," Russian Television that has eight commentators and all were for Hillary all the time!  If they wanted Trump wouldn't all of their TV people be promoting Mr. Trump?  Not one had a good word to say about "The Donald."  Furthermore...

The Russians gave the Clinton Foundation $104 million through a Canadian corporation in exchange for 20% of the United States uranium production in perpetuity, a deal that had to be approved by the State Department and guess who was in charge?  Does anyone think Mr. Trump would have gone along with that deal?  He will be working to rescind it, but that will mean the Canadian government is going to have to dissolve a Canadian corporation and that is not easily done.

It should be very clear Director Comey, a long proven pretzel, has announced the Trump investigation to save his job as it would look very bad if Mr. Trump were to fire him while his investigation was in progress.  That means it will continue as long as Mr. Comey wants to be the Director of the FBI.  If he is successful it would send a lot more than a thrill up Chris Matthews leg and you would feel like you shouldn't be watching when Jeff Zeleny talked about it. His would be the first political orgasm seen on national TV and real men would be vomiting in their living rooms.

The major media people know the truth that the Russian rumors, whatever they may be, will not come close to the outrageous story they’ve been peddling to the joy of the lunatic Democrat base. So they want to push the conclusion of this investigation as far down the road as they possibly can.  If it never happens that will be soon enough.  If the truth finally emerges, they will look like the liars that they are thus they will do everything they can to keep it from breaking before November 2018.
