We’ve got to act FAST, Adrian! The Senate is voting this week on the confirmation of Betsy DeVos as the Secretary of Education. That means a corporate billionaire will run our public schools into the ground unless we mobilize NOW. Add your name to join Senate Democrats in rejecting DeVos’ nomination  Not only is it highly suspicious that DeVos dumped millions into the pockets of Republicans, but her disastrous hearing proved she is wholly unprepared to head our public education system: She didn’t know federal law protected students with disabilities -- and wouldn’t commit to enforcing it! She said schools don't need to be gun-free zones (because of – and we’re not kidding -- "bears")! She refused to rule out slashing funding to public schools… or even privatizing them!
