Fly Me To The Moon!

"Duh, now what?"
The nimble noggins of NASA are back at the national trough to gobble more billions of our hard-earned, heavily taxed Dollars, that has included Social Security deposits since 1964 thanks to LBJ, to keep their Ph.D.s writing fantasies like man-caused "global warming,"  "rising sea levels," "falling sea pH" in spite of their $4 million study of the acidity of sea water a few years ago that found there was no change!  Why were we not surprised?

This study could have been done for $80 by correspondence to universities around the world going to nearby beaches, take a sample and put it in the mail.  Instead JPL chartered a very expensive boat and sailing "20,000 leagues," or some such, for a year to take eight sea water samples to prove nothing!

NASA plans "more partnering with private firms in space activities" since they saw Elon Musk fleece the national treasury for five billion Dollars with a $110,000 contribution to the Obama campaign.  The question is now, "Will President Trump be as stupid as JFK promoting we go to the moon, "...not because it is easy, but because it is hard."  When that line got applause I realized we were in a bad century.

There is no reason to go to the moon.  There is nothing there not found here, save helium 3, the helium isotope we think we can fuse (burn) in a way that will give us unlimited power.  All fusion power experiments have failed for 50 years.  How long does it take a Ph.D. to get it?  Answer:  Forever if someone else is paying for it. Furthermore, we can make helium 3 here for much less than it costs to bring it back from the moon in "breeder" nuclear reactors.
As long as government bureaus pay Ph.D.s to make up fantasies they will write them.  What more people need to realize is that much, if not most, of what you are taught of physical science is not true.  It is a structure of teachable myths because reality is so complicated and hard to understand if fully presented in a first course the kids run out the classroom and never return.  Fiction in the physical science curriculum is thought necessary.  Mother Nature is not neat and clean like the pure math used to describe her.  She is sloppy and those beautiful curves used to describe her are fiction. Mother Nature wobbles when she walks.

We are at a crossroads and it remains to be seen if Mr. Trump will get us off our suicidal path of men committing felonies in the name of "Getting money for science!"  If it is false, like "Global Warming" and "Man in Space," it is suicidal as science education has been turned into a weapon for money and power. The greatest criminals of our time wear white coats.  The "Ozone Shield" and "CO
2 Greenhouse" are two such lies for science.

To date two generations have been seriously lied to in textbooks and classrooms.  The men and women who know the truth are those retiring from science professions.  They have been in it long enough to see the the truth.  The insanity is that total. The top question at NASA today is: "
Will Mars remain the top goal for human space flight?"  Somewhere in the bowels of JPL there are two men designing the next big scam.

Mars has no water, no air, 2/3rds of the mass and gravity needed to make it a habitable planet.  There is no other habitable planet in our Solar System.  Habitable planets likely exist, but they are too far away and may be in places where physical constants like gravity and pi are different.  Our arrival in such a place could result in an instantaneous "poof" as you get ripped to pieces by the forces of that space and another, but unforgiving Mother Nature.

There is good reason to believe we could not even survive a trip to Mars given the highly radioactive nature of outer space.  The project is 100% insane, a scam for money for people who are "real smart," but lack the principle to own up to our reality.

The one thing we should do about space is to develop a defense against big rocks that hit us fairly regularly.  Detecting them early and launching a robot craft to nudge them away should have been our goals and they should be now.  Where the Hell are the brains at NASA?  Fly me to the moon?
