For far too long, the California legislature has been a “conservative-free zone” — even though there was a handful of Republicans in seats and taking up space.  Where they had dominated California politics before World War II and a decade after they quickly lost out to Democrats in spite of Vietnam, which was a Democrat full employment and profit plan for arms maker contributors.

Californians are now facing 898 new laws in effect since January 1, 2017 in what appears to be a combination of grabbing power and eliminating Republicans to finish the job they started when they passed a proposition that the top two vote getters in a primary would be the only candidates listed in a General Election.  There are so many illegal aliens and cemetery voters Republicans always run third so this has eliminated the party.

Prop. 63: “2nd Amendment Nullification Act." With parts going into effect in stepped years!  Yes, they staggered implementation of this “critically needed reform,” with some out to 2019 in what can only be a full employment program for lawyers as every bit of this bill is in opposition to the Second Amendment and aimed at Republicans who are "gun toters" to a man or woman.  Our ladies can shoot as well as men.

This is the work of Gavin Newsom, the idiot that wants to be Governor and then President, but lost Kimberly Guilfoyle while he was the Mayor of San Francisco.  It is hard to imagine how she ever said "yes" to that man as it is a matter of record five men have asked for her hand and four went away with broken hearts.

Proposition 63: requires you to pass a background check and pay $50 for a permit to buy ammunition for the gun you may have just paid another $50 to get a background check to buy.  How that will stop criminals who buy guns and ammo in alleys from other criminals remains to be seen.  At some point the people of California are going to catch on all this BS aimed at Republicans who are farmers, ranchers, small business people and tradesmen who make the state instead of pointy headed Ph.D.s who only talk about it while sipping Sherry and passing a joint in the Faculty Lounge.  Been there done that; got out.

Proposition 63 makes a high-capacity magazine (any magazine that holds more than 10 rounds) illegal to possess even if you bought it prior to the current ban and ownership was previously considered "grandfathered."  This law makes it clear the goal of the left is not “safety,” but control.

SB880: “Bullet Button Ban.” For years, California Democrats have sought to ban a made-up classification of semi-auto rifles with “evil features” they re-naming them “assault weapons” for propaganda purposes.  The real "assault weapon" is a fully automatic gun that only requires you hold the trigger down to empty the magazine. They are really not the most effective weapons as they are impossible to aim, jump around in hand and waste 95% of everything that comes out of them.

Every year, California Democrats attempt to increase control over this “hated group of guns," in their words, until they outright ban all semi-automatics.   This law will not do one thing to further public safety as the San Bernardino terrorist attack documented.  Mass murderers will ignore and work around all gun control laws as they are just words on paper to law breakers and avoiders.  

See how effective the "GUN FREE ZONE" signs have been.  They are strong attractions for mass murderers.  We want to see "ARMED CARRY WELCOME" signs so the Muslim terrorists know they may get one of us, but no more as the guns will come out and be blazing in moments.

In a previous legislative session, this same bill was sponsored by none other than disgraced State Senator Leland Yee who publicly wanted to “protect” Californians from assault weapons on our streets!"  He was arrested for trafficking in fully automatic assault weapons and rocket-propelled grenades in exchange for campaign contributions. They would only have been used in major assaults on citizens and police.  He’s currently serving a five-year prison sentence and it should be 50 years as he better than most knew well what he was doing.

California Senate Bill 3: Minimum Wage Hike to $15/hour by 2020 is a result of a strong socialist push by unions and complicit politicos like as the union-controlled California legislature is bringing on much automation as businesses are looking for ways to eliminate as many jobs as possible. When this is combined with unchecked illegal immigration and the unlimited labor pool willing to work for low cash wages, the future for entry-level jobs and small business owners in California is bleak to non-existent.

Assembly Bill 1785 The “Hands Free” Law is another example of government gone berserk. It prescribes driver behavior so severely it will cause more accidents and deaths.  Not only must your cell phone be dash-mounted, meaning you’ll have a permanent distraction in front of you, but you may not text, take photos or video, or enter GPS destinations while driving.  Fat chance of stopping those activities with a $20 fine, but they will soon lift that $250 as that seems to be the favorite fine figure for anything you do while driving that may cause weight gain, methane or CO2 emissions. Believe it or not: farting in California is now illegal while driving! 

Assembly Bill 1785 stipulates “the only time a driver is allowed to touch the device is when he or she is activating or deactivating a “feature or function.” However, that process must only involve "a single swipe or tap of a driver's finger."  What about a single fingered salute you may give to a California official? 

Assembly Bill 1732: Single-User Restrooms. If you’ve ever had to go so badly you used the opposite sex restroom at a gas station or Starbucks, you may really object to this law. The legislation is so poorly written it is hard to tell what it means, what it was meant to correct or do.

Senate Bill 1383: Controlling Cow Flatulence. In spite of the fact that 53 California dairy farmers went bankrupt, moved out of state, or just closed down 2016, the Marxist-Progressives are back at it again. Capture cow farts or suffer heavy fines.  Just wait till your California Fart Inspector shows up in his Dockers and Mackinaw.

The California Air Resources Board suggests inserting a tube into the cow’s digestive system and venting into a backpack carried device, on the cow! It does not yet exist nor is it clear what it is supposed to do or where are the gas it captured are supposed to go from there?  The gas that makes farts smell is as poisonous as hydrogen cyanide gas.

Even California liberals had to admit invalid, pointless laws like this have undesirable economic and societal effects, pitting people against a government that has clearly become insane, but the bill passed as if it were one to prevent selling Marijuana to kids, however that has been encouraged by the same people recently!

You cannot make California up.  The only reason to be here is that you got stuck during the Obama crash and improving our economy with the national credit card to the tune of $10 trillion, a debt that cannot be repaid by the next three generations paying double the taxes of all kinds we have suffered.  California is a nuthouse by the sea.
