A Ridiculous Situation!

From Politico:  “ATTORNEY GENERAL LORETTA LYNCH IS BRUSHING ASIDE CALLS FOR AN INDEPENDENT COUNSEL TO INVESTIGATE POTENTIAL CRIMINAL ACTIVITY IN THE ALLEGED RUSSIAN CAMPAIGN TO INFLUENCE LAST YEAR’S PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION."

AV:  Looks like Attorney General Loretta Lynch is getting nervous about her involvement in the "The Russian's did it..." as a few smart people in DC are beginning to ask why and how the CIA was monitoring the DNC servers when any operations by them in the US are illegal!  Go down the list of the other 16 agencies and ask why they were curious about the DNC emails.  And, while you are at it, Why do so many of these bureaus exist and why are they digging in the DNC's communications system?  It is a political party! Blackmail?


Politico Continues: “I CONTINUE TO HAVE THE UTMOST CONFIDENCE IN THE CAREER MEN AND WOMEN OF THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, OF THE FBI, OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY AND ALL THE AGENCIES THAT WOULD BE CALLED TO BEAR AS WELL AS THE CAREER, DEDICATED EMPLOYEES OF THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY,” LYNCH SAID WEDNESDAY IN RESPONSE TO A QUESTION FROM POLITICO."

AV:  Madame:  If you have so much confidence in them when they were breaking the law by (1) operating in the US, in several cases and (2) snooping on a private party not known to be a criminal enterprise, without court authority, are they not themselves breaking the law?  Or are you ready to say it is widely known the Democratic Party is criminal enterprise?  We might even be able to arrange for you to be a closet or at least honorary Republican for the occasion.


Politico continues: "LYNCH HAS THE AUTHORITY TO NAME A SPECIAL COUNSEL FOR THE NEXT NINE DAYS. AFTER THAT, IT WILL FALL TO SOMEONE ELSE, LIKELY SEN. JEFF SESSIONS (R-ALA.), WHO TESTIFIED TUESDAY AT HIS CONFIRMATION HEARING TO REPLACE LYNCH. DURING THAT SESSION, SEN. RICHARD BLUMENTHAL (D-CONN.) PRESSED SESSIONS ON THE CIRCUMSTANCES UNDER WHICH HE WOULD APPOINT A SPECIAL COUNSEL. “

AV:  Madame:  Given what appears to be an indication of criminality why did you not convene a Grand Jury to generate subpoenas and pursue this matter in a legal manner?  Was this under the instruction of President Obama?  He often uses unorthodox methods like Executive Orders that are easily rescinded by the next President.

Politico continues: “ASKED WHETHER CRIMINAL CHARGES OR LEGAL ACTION RELATED TO THE ALLEGED RUSSIAN ACTIVITIES MAY BE FORTHCOMING, LYNCH SAID LAW ENFORCEMENT’S WORK ON THE ISSUE IS NOT COMPLETE.

AV: Madame:  That is not an answer to the question which assumes there is some substance in the investigation or it would not be continuing.  You are surely not continuing to drill an obviously dry hole, are you?


Politico continues: “WITH RESPECT TO ONGOING INVESTIGATIONS….WE DON’T COMMENT ON THOSE, SO WE’RE NOT ABLE TO GIVE YOU ANY KIND OF UPDATE ON THAT,” SHE SAID, BEFORE ADDING: “THAT WORK DOES CONTINUE.”

AV: Madame:  Please, we are not asking for a conclusion.  We are only wanting to know if you are finding something to warrent continuing as should be the case in two months!

Politico continues:  "LYNCH, WHO SPOKE AT A JUSTICE DEPARTMENT PRESS CONFERENCE ANNOUNCING CRIMINAL FRAUD CHARGES RELATED TO VW DIESEL EMISSIONS, STRESSED THE U.S. GOVERNMENT’S DECISION TO ISSUE A WRITTEN REPORT ON RUSSIA’S ALLEGED INVOLVEMENT IN THE CAMPAIGN-SEASON HACKING WAS AN EXTRAORDINARY ONE."

AV:  We are glad to at last have something to agree with Ms. Lynch as up to this point there has been nothing especially when the North American broadcasting Russian Television has eight political commentators and all were strongly pro-Hillary.  This is totally contrary to their being for Mr. Trump.  Hard to believe they would do that!

Politico continues: “THE REPORT ITSELF IS ONE OF THE ACTIONS WE’VE TAKEN IN RESPONSE TO THIS SITUATION THE PUBLIC DISCLOSURE, THE PUBLIC ATTRIBUTION OF A NATION STATE’S ATTEMPTS TO INVOLVE THEMSELVES IN OUR ELECTORAL SYSTEM IS SOMETHING WE TAKE VERY, VERY SERIOUSLY….WE RARELY DO THESE TYPES OF ATTRIBUTIONS, FOR A VARIETY OF REASONS,” SHE SAID. “THE PRESIDENT HAS STATED THAT THE UNITED STATES WILL HAVE A RESPONSE TO THESE ACTIONS. SOME OF THAT WILL BE VISIBLE AND SOME OF THAT WILL NOT BE VISIBLE…YOU MAY NOT NECESSARILY SEE EVERY ACTION.”

AV: Where Mr. Obama is said to have known about this a long time and in June 2016 in a meeting told Mr. Putin to "...cut it out," why was the DNC not informed to at least the point they would welcome the FBI offer to better defend their system and not take any defensive measures?  They were so naive John Podesta's password was "password!" This is a ridiculous situation!
