The Left Implosion!

As an example of the angry thinking now driving the American left we begin with an example of the discourse published by one of the leading national magazines in America, "Esquire."

"The latest news from Camp Runamuck down in Manhattan is that, somewhere in what the late Gram Parsons undoubtedly would have recognized as a Gilded Palace of Sin, a craftsman's hands have cleverly taken the basket of deplorables and fashioned it into an entire Cabinet of Deplorables. There really is some art in how the minions of El Caudillo del Mar-A-Lago have managed to make a Wednesday that was worse than Tuesday was, a Thursday that was worse than the Wednesday was, and a Friday that, long before noon, was the worst goddamn day of a godawful week. I mean, they call it stormy Monday, but Tuesday was just as bad.  And so on.

Before we get to the proposed elevation of Jefferson Beauregard Sessions to the position of Attorney General which, in 2016, is like hiring Hannibal Lecter as your chief of thoracic surgery, and even before we get to the fact that the president-elect's National Security Adviser is a walking ad for the finest in tinfoil pillbox hats, let's pause and reflect on the fact that the brain trust has decided to hand the CIA over to Congressman Mike Pompeo of Kansas, who has to dial one and an area code in order to contact crazy. The left is "firing for effect" in the manner of naval war Admirals in maneuvers to attack fleet and sink the enemy, but they are not in such a position.  In fact they are farther away from an advantage than they ever have been.  Instead of gaining seats in the House of Representatives they lost one and the Republicans gained 11!  In the Senate the net change was zero remaining with Republicans at 54 and Democrats 46 in spite of the Republicans having had higher exposure with most of the seats, 34 running were Republican. 

While Republicans do not have 60 seats to make them veto-proof, but by having the White House there really is no need for such a plurality so why even bother with that fact?  It is meaningless. This documents the desperation of the left to glean victory from crushing defeat, but Democrats live on lies!  "If you want your Senate, you can keep your Senate, period!" has a nice ring when any detractors are called "racist!"

Republicans made modest gains in state legislatures firming the 2:1 advantage nationally as they have 68% control of all state legislatures due to the census of 2010 which redistricted the states, better reflecting the voting preferences of the citizens. They created Republican power blocks that will be that way for a long time.  With the next census in 2020 there will be a likely Republican continuation in power the Democrats could literally fade from the scene when there seems to be a serious call for new party.

Rioters in places like Portland are curious:  Oregon is a hard-left coastal state as large bodies of water correlate with liberalism due to something salt water air does to brains, so we do not have to wonder what they are rioting about since most people whose property they are destroying voted with them! We can only wonder how many new Republicans they made in that riot! "They are Democrats!" is all we have to say. This is typical liberal logic; i.e. The left implosion.
