Mr. Barry Farber
I guested the show this evening and Barry did a big setup for a story set on an island, Gotland, in the Swedish Baltic archipelago, a fairy-tale setting, where I once sailed for two days with a relative by marriage who was an international diamond broker on a mission to Amsterdam. On the return I nervously sat by two suitcases with a fortune in precious stones hoping there were no pirates on the dreamlike mirror Baltic Sea. The summer sun never sets or give a breeze so a bumpy Diesel chortled "topakata, topakata" through the night driving my musings through one Walter Mitty like fantasy after another. My cousin was pleased to have a man from California on the boat, knowing all Americans are very good shots. We had weapons.
We made it in Sweden, but the story did not as we were interrupted when one of Barry's TV producer friends, called during a break with information on the latest Trump disaster. We shifted gears and ran with it... You will enjoy it: Click on:
