Mr. Barry Farber
I got a call about 45 minutes before air time from Barry as he was to have a high-powered lady Democrat on his show, but she was in the hall in Philadelphia and in doubt about getting to her hotel for a quiet location to call in so could I come on for a while as discussing the Democrat convention would be more interesting than his doing a monologue on it. I question that idea as I know this man's resources and he is like a bottomless well, but ask me to be on a show and I will swap horses going opposite directions at full gallop. The lady never did show up, but another really rabid Democrat did so Barry let him on. This guy was like a Gatling gun, but I used the old on-air trick of agreeing with him on one point. That stopped him long enough that I could jump him with my arguments. All in great fun. Enjoy:
