Dr. Michael Mann

"Climate change" alarmist Michael Mann recently downplayed the importance of climate-change science, telling Democrats that data and models “increasingly are unnecessary” because the impact is obvious, saying:

“Fundamentally, I’m a climate scientist and have spent much of my career with my head buried in climate-model output and observational climate data trying to tease out the signal of human-caused climate change,” Mr. Mann told the Democratic Platform Drafting Committee at a hearing.  They appeared not to be alarmed he was admitting there is little to no evidence for what he has been saying.

“What is disconcerting to me and so many of my colleagues is that these tools that we’ve spent years developing increasingly are unnecessary because we can see climate change, the impacts of climate change, now, playing out in real time, on our television screens, in the 24-hour news cycle,” he said.

Dr, Mann is denying advances in physical science data gathering and analysis.  We can find examples of dramatic ice changes any time in many places, but whether or not they are significant trends depend on data accurately collected over long periods.

Dr. Mann, director of the Earth System Science Center at Penn State, a citadel of the way a college should be run, as long as you stay out of the Athletic Department showers and never drop your soap, spoke before the committee June 17 in Phoenix, Arizona.

This is the most recent iteration of the "settled science" claim and the new move to prosecute "deniers" for making an opposing case. They are armed with such pesky facts as the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere would have to increase 2500 times before Climate Science would admit to its significance in the atmosphere as it is now ignored under the heading "Trace Gases."  But, the
"Global Warmer/Climate Changers" continue to wail on CO2 as if it were the gas Godzilla!

All the climate panic pushing physicists are covering their butts for East Anglia Climate Research Unit scandal where Dr. Mann's "trick" was exposed in Dr. Phil Jones' emails to a dozen other white coat criminals.  They also have to find a way around the October 2015 release of the Joint Congressional Science Committee's report that NASA's GISS has been faking temperature data to cover the 18 year temperature decline Earth has been in to say nothing of the sun's blank face confirming it is cooling!

Dr. Mann's comment caused "Greenie Watch," to post it under the headline, “Scientist Michael Mann says there is no need for statistics: You can just SEE global warming," with a scathing report under the headline.  Dr. Mann does not seem to appreciate that on every day you can find places on Earth that are at 120 degrees Fahrenheit and -100 Fahrenheit, but they move as we are tilted 23.5 degrees as well as being in an elliptical orbit that precesses meaning the entire orbit rotates adding to the complexity of any analysis. 

The fact that "Climate Change" people didn't throw Dr. Mann under the train when he was exposed for having taken his "hockey stick" data from one cross section of a Russian tree from a forest he had not surveyed or even seen or his ravings that he won a Nobel Prize when he did not only prove the depth of their determination to support this fraud.

Now in a release NASA is noting the fact that there are no spots on the sun which is the well-known as a sign of cooling  and perhaps a coming ice age!  The spots are like bubbles in boiling water.  They indicate more heat is going into the pot than the water can abide without changing state by making bubbles.  In the sun that has been the sign "things are normal."

When dark area "bubbles" are not present the sun is taking a nap and the last time that happened, 15,000 years ago, snows began to fall that covered North America with 5000 feet of ice all the way down to Saint Louis, dug out the Great Lakes and put 15,000 feet of ice over what is now New York City and did it in 20 years!

Dr. Mann complains about his "computer programs," but they have kept his face smiling and chubby.  Where they are little more than ordinary spreadsheets and can be written in a few weeks, why have they cost millions of Dollars?  It would seem Dr. Mann has some questions to answer.
