Bernie Sanders deserves our thanks. On January 21, 2010, the Supreme Court opened the door for billionaires and corporations to spend unlimited amounts of money in our elections in their Citizens United decision. On Day One, Bernie predicted the disastrous effects of this case:  This ruling will “give control of the political process in the United States to the wealthiest and most powerful institutions in the world and the candidates who support their agenda. Instead of democracy being about one-person one-vote, it will now be about the size of a company’s bank account.” ~ Sen. Bernie Sanders, January 21, 2010 Oh, how right Bernie was. Since then, Bernie’s been one of the loudest and strongest voices fighting to take back our Democracy by restoring power to the people -- not the wealthy. Now that he’s running for President, he’ll have an even larger platform to push for an end to Citizens United once and for all. Democratics are proud to claim "Sosh Security is our most successful program!" and then grouse that recipients "...get back more than they put in!"  They are only confirming one of two things:  (1)  They do not understand compound interest and/or (2) free market investment. We did an Excel study finding that a young man starting work at age 22 in 1966 and retiring in 2009 who had put all his Social Security deposits in a bank at prevailing interest rates could draw $20,000 a month from his fund on retirement and never run out of money.  If he lived to be 90 he would have $182,376 in the bank. "Sosh Security" now pays him less than $1,400 a month, "gives" him a $250 death benefit and zeros him out.  Democrat Representative Steny Hoyer complains he is getting more than he paid in!  True under Democrat-Keynesian economics which have been banned in the country of their origin and, like Communism, have never been successful. The truth is not only the best medicine against men like Bernie Sanders, but the Peoples Democratic Party. Adrian Vance
