What Mr. Biden Will Do

 

Former Vice President Biden has spent the last several months politicizing COVID-19 in the hopes of scaring people into voting for him, arguing that “It didn’t have to be this way, man!” claiming he would do a better job, even though he hasn’t suggested doing anything beyond what has been done. In fact, he has consistently plagiarized Trump’s COVID-19 response and claimed it to be his own.  Joe is infamous for plagiarism.

Joe Biden's one contribution to the Corno-19 disaster was to castigate Mr. Trump's shutting down travel to, and from, China calling Trump "xenophobic," which means "anti other race" and "racist," the favorite liberal word weapon.  Typically, Joe's logic was thin, flawed and error  as Mr. Trump would have long ago made that move were he so inclined.  He is not. 

In March Dr. Deborah Birx, an "expert" advising the President, predicted that “if we do things almost perfectly,” there would be up to 200,000 deaths in the United States.  “If we do things together well, almost perfectly, we could get in the range of 100,000 to 200,000 fatalities,” Birx told Savannah Guthrie on Today. No one of our highly regarded economists have bothered to model a shut down economy and its' consequences as they are typical lazy, Faculty Lounge lizards of the kind I both grew up on and suffered for the eight years of my teaching career.  I had too much ambition, energy and creativity to stay in that life.

Thus, we did all the defensive measures that well as our number, which has been grossly overestimated as hospitals get a 20% bonus for Covid-19 deaths!  Who authored this rule?  Certainly a Democrat.

Of course, our responses weren’t perfect, thanks largely to New York and New Jersey, the states with the worst responses to COVID-19 in the country, and the worst in the world is New York.  22 percent of all COVID-19 deaths in the United States are in New York and Jersey.

The fact is that a small number of poorly managed states skew America’s COVID-19 death numbers significantly and all have Democrat governments at the state and local levels.

If you take the COVID-19 death counts of the top four states per capita (New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut), they account for 28 percent of all COVID-19 deaths in our 50 states.

That’s an incredibly high concentration of deaths in just four states. Yet despite these states’ disproportionately bad responses to the pandemic, the United States is basically where Dr. Birx said we’d be if things had been done "almost" perfectly.

So when Joe Biden says he would have done better, how exactly? Would Biden have stopped Cuomo’s deadly nursing home policy in New York?  There’s no reason to believe any state would have done anything differently under Biden as they would show him the same level of independence they have to Mr. Trump in respect for their local constituencies.

In fact, Joe Biden would have done worse, as it took him months to flip-flop on the China travel ban, which experts agree saved tens of thousands of lives, but leave it to Joe, and the Democrats, never to mention this fact when berating Mr. Trump.

Predictably, Dr. Fauci turned on President Trump.  He is a life-long,  Democrat bureaucrat who went from Yale School of Medicine to a Federal bureau and after 30 years at a desk was at last having his day before national TV cameras!  He confessed to all who are media savvy that here was a man who was enjoying a national emergency too much.

Dr. Fauci could not control the grin under his grim narrative. He milked it like a "fresh cow" for everything it could do for him and especially to bring down a Republican President he hates on instruction of party leaders Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Charles Schumer, Adam Schiff and Jerald Nadler.  The first thing out of his mouth was, "It'll be gone soon, maybe 30 days, six months..."  knowing full well that was a lie.

From that point on Dr. Birx manipulated Mr. Trump, but Trump's instincts led him to good decisions such that we are second only to Switzerland in terms of our success in dealing with the disease which scientific investigators are now wonder if was produced as a weapon, but got away due to their crude methods and slave labor. 

Switzerland is a small country that can isolate itself in an hour, and did.  COVID-19 is a threat you import!  Nonetheless, the work Americans did was nearly as effective and the only places with high mortalities were cities with much international air traffic, New York, and Seattle.

While mistakes were made this virus has been oversold even though it is more virulent than "the common cold" or "the common flu." The very young are virtually immune, adolescents are 99% immune, middle aged suffer less than 1% mortality.  You have to be over 50 before the mortality goes over 1%, over 60 it is 3.6%, at 70 it is 8% and over 80 the death rate is 15%.  The prototype death from COVID-19 is an elderly person with one to several other life-ending afflictions.

In the 20th century we had the Marburg Virus, Ebola, Rades, HIV, Smallpox, Hanta, Spanish Flu, Sars-Co V2, Dengue Fever, Rota Virus, SARS-CoV1C2 China, SARS-CoV2, and MERS-Co.V.  All more serious, virulent entities

One fact that has fallen from this 120 year disease history is that you have a three times greater likelihood of dying when infected by a virus if your state has a Democrat elected government!  They typically have heavy hands with the people, take their guns and order their people around in the manner of Governor Gretchin Whitmer of Michigan.  She is the perfect prototype female Democrat Governor, scary, cold, evil... 

While there is considerable anecdotal, largely unconfirmed, evidence in word, picture and video form of the Democrat's illegal actions most not confirmed but can be under investigation we still do not admire their ability to accuse and destroy innocent people with accusations alone.  The favorite is "racisim!" and ironically where every official of the government of the Civil War Confederacy was a Democrat from the founding of that party, as well every member of the Ku Klux Klan who lynched thousands of Negros to terrorize and control them was also a Democrat they accuse Republicans of being "racist!"  Did Hitler learn his craft from the pages of our history?

Nonetheless, we have a clear concept of what Mr. Biden would do, or more accurately:  What Kamala Harris would do as Mr. Biden is not well and would be dispensed with shortly after the inauguration.  It is darkness or dawn for America knowing what Mr. Biden would do.
