These 17 states do not realize this is a defensive weapon that is often carried by ladies who walk or run for exercise or frequent supermarket parking lots and other such locations.  If a masher or miscreant attack them they can grab this unit in hand, jab it at the man's neck, push the button and he is on the ground feeling like he was run over by a PeterBilt 18 wheeler and she is safely gone.  Why is this defensive weapon not available?  In all likelihood the distributor did not pay off the lobbyists who grease the palms of these state's legislators.  It is just that simple.  America is increasingly corrupt.

The owner came out, got the dogs under control and called the Sheriff on me saying it was my fault as I had not taken his offer to  "socialize with the dogs."  The Deputy bought it and I almost wound up in jail!  That I know the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court and have talked with the Sheriff on-the-air spared me a trip to the "clink" and a $1,000 bail bond fee for "Cruelty to animals" for not letting them eat my face as Pit Bulls do in their victims. The lessons are:  Get to know your local officials and stay out of California.  Our new Governor, evil Gavin Newsom, like many in states bounded by salt water, has us on the rails to Venezuela.
