Dear My Democrats:
I'm out! Marriage was founded to protect children, the natural product of the union of a man and a woman. There is no way a "same sex union" can produce a child so it is a sham by definition.
It is not difficult to take a small, thin man, stick some silicone breasts on him, squeeze him into a corset, dress, makeup, hair falls and high heels and have him look like a girl, but he is not a woman as every cell in his body is male. And, it always will be male.
There is no "transgendered" state of being. We are born with male or female chemistry and cannot change it. Sex is defined at the molecular level.
There are surgical procedures for creating false vaginas from penises, but they do not function fully. They not provide the pleasure of natural sex. Same story for the penis made from a vagina. It never works for one reason: You cannot re-connect severed nerves. May we some day? Possibly, but there will remain the basic cellular difference.
The solution is psychotheraputic and there are specialists in this area that have had great success treating this perceived affliction. The record for those seeking the surgical solution the outcome is not good. Participants in "sex change" surgery have very high suicide rates, 20 times that of the general population. Johns Hopkins Hospital, where the procedure was developed, and first instituted, will no longer perform such surgeries.
The reality of "sex change," or better the impossibility of it reveals that among our several false issues is "Marriage Equality."
